All About Me…

My name is Theresa Weber, and I was born in Brooklyn, New York. My parents, who are full-blooded Italians, came to America when they were still young. After their long boat ride here, they resided in Brooklyn where they wed and started a family. When I was only three years old, my family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, and in 1981, I met my husband of now 25 years. Together we moved to Algoma, Wisconsin to be close to my husband’s family business, and to have our children experience the wonderful upbringing that only the Mid-West could offer! Our two boys, Christopher and Matthew, both attending the University of Wisconsin Madison have made us extremely proud parents! I very much enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom while they were growing up…watching their first smiles appear on those tiny little faces, putting on those first little walking shoes and witnessing their first wobbling steps, shopping for school supplies for my Kindergarteners with tears in my eyes -it seems like just yesterday…
Now it is a fun time for me to think about what makes me tick, my passion…what I want to be when I grow up! While I enjoy crafts, gardening and spending time with great friends, I have a real love for photography, for capturing that one moment in time that a parent will cherish forever, for taking those moments of a senior portrait and relaying to the world what it means to be 17. Photographs are poetry for the visual arts; their physical scope is contained within the four edges of a single frame, displaying a precise moment in time. Their ability to convey meaning and beauty is immeasurable. This is my inspiration.
I hope you will find that my photojournalistic fine art approach will make your photography session a unique experience that will produce beautiful portraits to cherish forever. With grace and style, my passion will be your reward.
